The Courtesy Ministry serves by extending warm greetings and thoughtful courtesies to both guests and members of our church. This ministry is rooted in the spirit of giving, hospitality, and fellowship, and seeks to create a welcoming and caring environment for all.

 

Duties include:

  • Welcoming visitors and guests

  • Extending courtesies to the pastor and his family

  • Providing courtesies to graduates of the ministry

  • Offering courtesies to the sick and shut-in

  • Facilitating ministry-wide fellowship activities

About New Hope

On April 13, 1913, Reverend Cassie organized New Hope Baptist Church along with seven members in the home of Mrs. Ida Taylor of Whitfield Mills Road, Jackson, Mississippi.
