Baby Dedication Service (1).png

Baby Dedication

A baby dedication is a ceremony in which believing parents, and sometimes entire families, make a commitment before the Lord to raise their child according to God’s Word and God’s ways.

Christian parents who dedicate their child are making a promise to the Lord before the church congregation to do everything within their power to raise the child in a godly way. Parents are also inviting the church community to partner with them on their child’s faith journey and spiritual development. A baby dedication is not baptism, but is instead a public expression of your desire to follow God and raise their child to love Jesus Christ.

New Hope Baptist Church hold’s baby dedications on the second Sunday of each month.

Note, in order for your child to be dedicated at New Hope Church, the mother and/or the father must be active members of the church.

Please complete this form to request a date for your child to be dedicated.
